Quarterfinalist at Glory Grand Slam, Braddock is a veteran striker who has fought the likes of Badr Hari, Gokhan Saki and Remy Bonjasky.
Best kickboxer out of Brazil nowadays, Anderson “Braddock” Silva is seriously thinking in going to MMA.
In an interview to Portal Do Vale Tudo, the fighter said that he’s training Mixed Martial Arts in Team Nogueira and that he’s thinking to test himself inside the sport.
“I came here to Team Nogueira to train Big Nog to his fight against Werdum and i liked here. I’m training MMA too, but i’m keeping my kickboxing training. This is the best gym i’ve ever trained when you talk about the level of guys to train. You have the Nogueira brothers, Anderson Silva, Rafael Feijao, Erick Silva, guys that are truly top-level strikers around the world,” said Braddock. “I’m still a white belt in Jiu Jitsu, but i’m liking MMA, i’m thinking in having a fight to see how i perform.”
Besides the MMA training in Team Nogueira, Anderson is also preparing for his next kickboxing fight in GLORY. He revealed that he’s going to fight at GLORY 8 Tokyo in May 3rd against an Indian opponent to be named.
“I’m fighting in May 3rd against an Indian guy, so i’m preparing to the fight too. It’s been very productive and efficient, i’m here now for two weeks and i’m seriously thinking in moving to Rio de Janeiro to become a part of the team and train here for a long time, let’s see how i will adapt myself to it,” said the fighter.
